Damage pigeons in Piazza

Obviously the temptation is too strong. The first desire of any tourist arriving in San Marks Square seems to be offering food to the pidgeons, even in spite of a strict interdiction. The phenomenon doesn’t seem to diminish although the number of tourists hasn’t yet reached the peak-levels of summer. In spite of any interdiction they are entire groups of tourist who immediately when arriving at the Piazza get out any kind of food to offer to the birds: bread, bisquits, potatoe chips attracting in that way the attention of the pidgeons. IT’S STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO FEED THE PIDGEONS! IT PROVOCES DAMAGE TO THE HEALTH OF PEOPLE AND TO THE MONUMENTS.
