STARS ON THE LAGOON

More than a thousand people, both residents and tourists enjoyed the stars, in piazza San Marco. For the fifth time, on Saturday evening the event "Stars in the Lagoon" was repeated, promoted by the Environment department and the Historical Center, in collaboration with Astrofile Associations for Venice and the Veneto. The five telescopes made available by stargazers were positioned on Jupiter and the Moon; then, toward 11 pm, the lenses were pointed in the direction of a swarm of meteoric Draconidi, which were clearly visible on Saturday.
